Associate Dean Matt Howe and Assistant VP Ian LaChance recently represented Hudson Valley Community College at a convening, a concluding event to SUNY’s strategic enrollment management initiative for community colleges.
SUNY’s initiative provided funding and technical assistance to community colleges to create or enhance a strategic enrollment management plan with a focus on adult and underrepresented learners. Matt and Ian presented on HVCC’s successes and challenges, next steps and lessons learned and had the opportunity to learn from colleagues in New York, Minnesota, California and Indiana.
